About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Administrator to join our Kidz First Home Care team, based at 95 Wiri Station Road, Manukau.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Charge Nurse Manager and the team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service while delivering a professional, efficient, and patient and whānau-focused experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative support to the Charge Nurse Manager, multidisciplinary/Home Care team and as a part of the wider Kidz First Administrative team.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver an organised, efficient, and patient and whānau-centred service.
- Answering and managing incoming telephone calls and shared service email inboxes, responding to enquiries in a timely, caring, and professional manner.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to patients, families/whānau, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Managing office administration systems and general administrative duties to support the operational needs of the service.
- Coordinating referral and discharge administration processes.
- Maintaining client records and databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date, including completing regular file audits.
About You:
You are organised, proactive, and thrive in a busy environment. You have excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, and enjoy supporting both patients and clinical teams. You are confident communicating with people from all backgrounds and provide exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' administration experience in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence
