About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Health New Zealand and play a crucial role in managing the nursing portfolio within Health New Zealand, Hawke’s Bay, directly contributing to achieving national health targets. As a Experienced Recruitment Advisor, you will provide strategic and operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders. You will be responsible for delivering candidate-centric recruitment services, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members and lead portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Working alongside clinical leaders, this role leads end‑to‑end recruitment for complex and high‑priority portfolios, balancing strategic workforce planning with hands‑on delivery in a team that is collaborative, values‑led, and committed to doing things well. You’ll work in a close‑knit, purpose‑driven recruitment team, partnering with clinicians and leaders to deliver thoughtful, candidate‑centric recruitment while supporting each other through change and continuous improvement. About you

We are seeking an experienced, resilient senior recruiter who can partner with clinical leaders to deliver high‑impact, candidate‑centred recruitment in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.

• Experience in senior recruitment or talent role.
• Knowledge of NZ legislation and its application in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
• Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
