About the Role

As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will provide safe, effective, and evidence based physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and advice across a range of clinical areas. This role is designed to support the development of your skills and experience through rotations that may include acute medical and surgical wards, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient services, and community based care.

You will manage your own caseload, work closely with patients and whānau to develop goals and treatment plans, and contribute to multidisciplinary care. This is an excellent opportunity to build a broad clinical foundation while working alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive learning environment. You will also participate in the weekend acute physiotherapy service and contribute to service improvement and quality initiatives.

About you

As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • A positive attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • A commitment to culturally responsive practice and improving equitable health outcomes

This role would suit an early career physiotherapist looking to develop their clinical knowledge and experience across a diverse range of healthcare settings.
