Inpatient Administrator / Receptionist

- Permanent, Part-Time / 16 hours per week / 0.4 FTE
- Hours of work – 2 x days per week - 0700 hrs to 1530 hrs

About the Role
As a successful Administrator, you will be key to handling reception and administrative support in a very busy environment.
The successful applicant will be methodical, highly organised, flexible, and committed to being a supportive member of the team. Strong customer service skills are essential.
Day to day, you will be welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, and liaising with the medical team.
You will be responsible for accurately capturing patient flow data, assisting patients with completing required forms and documentation, and maintaining a clean, calm, and welcoming reception area at all times in a busy environment.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing daily office operations, such as managing supplies, inventory, and facility maintenance, as well as assisting with basic bookkeeping support such as processing invoices and tracking expenses.

About the Team/Service
The Administrator is committed to front desk operations, responsible for greeting, admitting, discharging, transfer of patient staying within the ward and managing patient records. They ensure the smooth running of the reception area and provide essential support to healthcare staff, and our success is driven by the care of patients and their whānau.
