Clinical Nurse Specialist, Cancer Care Coordination Endocrine / Sarcoma

About the Role
- 0.4 FTE, 32 hours per fortnight
Step into a key role in Endocrine and Sarcoma. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while improving outcomes for patients with Endocrine and Sarcoma cancers. Working at the forefront of cancer services, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely access to care and optimal treatment pathways.
In this role, you will use your leadership, clinical expertise, and critical thinking skills to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance the cancer care pathway. You will also drive quality improvement initiatives, contribute to service development, and provide education and clinical guidance to staff, helping to elevate patient experience and outcomes across the service.

About the team / Service/ Location
This role will be based at North Shore Hospital but cover all Waitemata
Our team is dedicated in providing specialised, coordinated cancer care for patients with Endocrine and Sarcoma conditions. We work collaboratively across multiple departments and services to ensure seamless patient journeys and high standards of care.
About You
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will bring the following:
- A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, ideally in Oncology, Orthopaedics and/or Endocrinology
- RN Level 4 (or equivalent qualification)
- A strong reputation for clinical excellence and leadership
- Postgraduate qualifications in Health Science/Nursing (completed or in progress)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective interdisciplinary relationships
