Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.
We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and caring Registered Nurse with a keen interest or experience in Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) who will join the friendly and professional multidisciplinary team based in Module 3 in Manukau SuperClinic.
Module 3 provides specialised ear, nose, and throat outpatient care to the population of the Counties Manukau district. ORL and Audiology clinics run daily including an Acute Clinic, as well as pre-admission clinics. Excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering equitable care, and self-motivated are essential pre-requisites for this role.
An excellent orientation programme is provided, as well as ongoing training and support.
Working hours are Mondays to Fridays with occasional Saturdays between 08:00 and 4:30 PM including an evening clinic that runs fortnightly between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Essential:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Genuine interest in Otorhinolaryngology specialty
- Preferred one year minimum post graduate experience in hospital setting, but new graduates may apply
