About the Role:
At Kidz First, we are committed to delivering a high standard of professional and innovative care to our community, with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes. We are seeking a dedicated Ward Clerk to join the Kidz First Surgical Ward, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, as well as patients and their families, and playing an integral role in the smooth and efficient running of the ward.
The role involves providing high-quality administrative, clerical, and reception support and requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong customer service focus, confident computer skills, and a positive, proactive “can-do” attitude. This part-time position (0.51 FTE) is based at Kidz First Hospital, with rostered shifts from 2:30pm to 8:30pm, working 7 days on, 7 days off schedule from Monday to Sunday.
About You
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Frontline reception and telephone experience
- Computer technology knowledge and basic computer skills
- Previous administration experience in a healthcare environment
- Flexible and team player
- Excellent overall admin skills with high attention to detail
The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
