About the Team/Service/Location
Ward 3 is a 34‑bed inpatient surgical ward in Whangarei Hospital, one of the main secondary hospitals serving Northland. It operates within Surgical Services, caring for adult patients requiring inpatient surgical management and recovery.
Ward 3 supports a broad mix of surgical specialties, such as general surgery, urology and gynaecology providing you with variety and making each day different.

About you
Essential Requirements:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Recent (within 2 years) clinical experience
- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication skills
- People orientated interests
Post graduate qualification and/or previous surgical experience is desirable.
