Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity with flexible working hours? Look no further. We are looking for a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse to join the Outpatient Team at North Shore Hospital on a flexible four-week rotational roster. This role offers 8-hour shifts, five days per week, providing an excellent opportunity to achieve work–life balance while continuing to grow and develop your nursing career.
In this role, you will provide clinical care and support to patients and their whānau attending outpatient appointments, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
You will support a variety of specialty clinics, including medical, orthopaedic, surgical, and women’s health services. As part of a department managing more than 100,000 appointments annually, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of clinical presentations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that values flexibility, teamwork, and patient-centred care.

About you
To be considered we will need the following:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
- Experience or an interest in post-operative wound care, cast care, and assisting with clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Flexibility to work across North Shore and Waitakere Outpatients
Recent Emergency Department (ED), Assessment and Diagnostic Unit (ADU), or Accident & Medical (A&M) experience, or transferable acute clinical experience.
