This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same. You will be involved in caring for patients undergoing a variety of cardiology procedures including ETT, CTCA, ESE, DSE and TOE, while working collaboratively with the wider cardiology service to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to further develop your cardiology knowledge and procedural nursing skills within a exciting clinical setting. You will work closely with patients, their whānau and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to high quality patient-centred care.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our friendly Cardiology Procedures team is part of the wider cardiology service at Waitematā and is committed to delivering high-quality specialist cardiac care to our community. We are a friendly, supportive and experienced team who value collaboration, continuous learning and excellence in patient care.

About you

As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will bring strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality cardiology care.

  • Completed cardiology modular course or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience
  • Competency to practise at Level 3
  • Previous experience in cardiology or a similar specialist nursing field
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to providing excellent patient-centred care
