About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our A2 Medical & Renal Unit, you will provide high quality nursing care to patients with complex medical and renal conditions, supporting them and their whānau throughout their healthcare journey. You will use your clinical knowledge and assessment skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based care while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Our A2 Medical & Renal Unit provides specialist care for patients with a wide range of acute medical and renal conditions. We are a collaborative and supportive team committed to delivering high quality care, promoting professional development, and achieving excellent patient outcomes.
Based in Hastings, you will enjoy all that Hawke's Bay has to offer, including a sunny climate, vibrant communities, beautiful beaches, and a renowned food and wine culture.

About you
As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
- IV certification/designation and strong clinical assessment skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and delivering equitable, patient-centred care.
Desirable:
- A current PDRP portfolio.
- Peritoneal Dialysis experience.
- PICC/CVL certification.
