About the Roles

A restructure of the leadership and Mental Health & Addictions community portfolios at Counties Manukau has resulted in the creation of a newly configured portfolio comprised of a range of specialist clinical teams across multiple sites, including inpatient and community settings.

We are now seeking an exceptional Service Manager to lead this portfolio, working in a highly collaboratively manner with two Clinical Heads and wider multidisciplinary leadership team.

The role will be responsible for all aspects of the financial, administrative and operational management within the portfolio. You will be a member of the Mental Health & Addictions Leadership team, accountable to the General Manager. Working alongside other Service Managers, Clinical, Cultural and Professional leaders and the Lived Experience workforce, you will contribute to the development and delivery of service plans and achievement of the Mental Health and Addictions Health targets.

About you

You will have leadership experience in health service delivery, operations and financial management and a strong commitment to improving the experience of tangata whaiora and whaanau who access our services. You will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Clinical or Business.
• 5 years’ management experience in a large, multifaceted healthcare environment including staff management, financial management and change management.
• Strong track record of managing complexity and risk whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Ability to take and lead people on a journey of growth and change.
• Skills to excel at operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
