About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to work alongside our Cardiology team within the Coronary Care Unit at Whangarei Hospital.
We have a fixed-term parental leave cover position working full-time, 40 hours per week (rostered shifts) until December 2026.
As a Registered Nurse – CCU, you will utilise professional knowledge and skill to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe, of the highest quality possible and in accordance with:
- Te Whatu Ora policies
- Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
- Nursing Practice Standards
- Nursing Council of NZ Registered Nurse competencies
- Nursing Council code of conduct

About you
Essential Requirements
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate
- The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Able to deal with clinical emergencies and sound patient education skills
- Good communication skills
- Post Graduate Certificate and Coronary Care Nursing Qualifications or experience are highly desirable
