  • Permanent full-time position
  • Based in the Tauranga Community

About the Role

Are you ready for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Health Professional with Mental Health experience to join the South Team on a permanent basis within the Tauranga Adult Community Mental Health Service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly supportive and friendly team.

The successful applicant will be joining a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on the Recovery Model for individuals who have a serious mental disorder. The aim of this team is to work with referrers, health partners, families/whānau and the community to provide effective triage, assessment and management of Tangata Whaiora who are requiring our services. We work alongside the Tangata Whaiora with the core values of patient centred care, and we achieve this with a focus on maximising health while promoting independence in the community.

The South team provides quality Mental Health Community Care to the Adult population of Tauranga.

You will be provided with support from the Clinical Lead around caseloads and clinical issues, and there will be opportunities to develop your skills within the team – including progression via PDRP or CASP. The nature of the work itself means that there is a lot of variety, so it is different and diverse each day.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on a fixed-term for 12 months to cover parental leave.
