Quality and Risk Manager

This senior role will provide leadership and advice on the implementation and management of organisational-wide quality and risk management strategies and programmes, which ensure quality and risk management is embedded throughout the district and closely linked to national frameworks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Being an advocate and sponsor for risk control and prevention strategies
- Overseeing the continuing development and delivery of quality and risk management training
- Proactively managing the quality assurance programme including compliance, complaint and adverse event processes
- Providing support, advice and guidance on all aspects of quality and risk management
- Work with national oversight groups to ensure alignment and shared learnings and understanding in both quality and risk areas
To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a healthcare organisation working in a quality and risk management role. This will be supported by a Masters level qualification or equivalent in health administration or management.
Strong communication and problem solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across an organisation are essential in this role.
