About the role
Based at Middlemore Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services across a diverse range of facilities and infrastructure. Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you will receive regular technical support, mentoring, and opportunities to expand your expertise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plumbing maintenance, repairs, and fault finding
- Wastewater and drainage maintenance
- Roofing and associated plumbing work
- Minor installation and upgrade projects
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and legislation
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. With the train station conveniently located right outside the hospital, commuting is easy.
About you
We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will need:
- NZ Registered Plumber
- Current full driver’s licence
- Good understanding of general building services
- NZ building practices and knowledge of legislation relating to plumbing and health and safety legislation and regulations
