About the Role
Physiotherapy Clinical Lead – Acute Inpatients 1.0 fte
We are seeking an experienced NZ Registered Physiotherapist who is keen to lead our physiotherapy acute inpatient team.
This role has a personal clinical caseload, as well as CL duties (see job description for further information)
This position clinically leads a group of 7 physiotherapists and shares leadership of 5 therapy assistants
This role includes rostered weekend work and on call (after a period of training/orientating to relevant competencies)

About the Team/Service/ Location
This work occurs within the Physiotherapy department at Taranaki Base Hospital or Hawera hospital or can occur in community locations.

About you
You will need to have:
· Current NZ Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate
· Valid work Visa for NZ and Drivers’ licence
· Five years Inpatient or Hospital experience/ skills
· A passion for teaching mentoring other physiotherapists
· Problem solving approach
· Excellent cultural knowledge & practice – Te Reo speaking is an advantage
· Excellent communication skills to work with other staff and patients
· Excellent computer skills
· Desire for ongoing self-directed learning
· Working visa/NZ residence (as appropriate)
