About the Role
This is a dynamic and multifaceted role that combines leadership, coordination, and hands-on administrative responsibilities within the Perioperative Unit. As the Perioperative Administration Coordinator, you will be both a motivator and a doer—leading a team while actively contributing to the daily operations that support theatre efficiency and patient care.
You will lead and inspire the Perioperative administrative team, allocate tasks, supervise workflows, and support team development. Working closely with administrators, clinicians, and managers across the hospital, you will support the Perioperative Nurse Manager in delivering efficient theatre utilisation to meet operational and national health targets. Your role will also include providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support, assisting with HR-related functions such as onboarding and rostering, and actively contributing as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

About you
You are a motivated leader with a hands-on approach, experienced in administrative coordination within a clinical or health environment. Your excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to motivate and manage a team make you a strong fit for this role. You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are committed to patient safety and quality service delivery. Strong communication and relationship-building skills enable you to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
