He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

The Nurse Coordinator Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) /  TrendCare (TC) position focuses on providing Leadership, Coordination and Management of the CCDM programme standards across the district of which TrendCare the patient acuity system is an integral component of.

This is a permanent full-time position working 80 hours per fortnight.

Whilst the role is based in Whakatane, you will work in partnership with the Tauranga based team which will require working across the district.


You will work in partnership with Te Pari ō Toi, Nurse Leaders, Clinical Nurse and Midwifery Managers (CN/MMs) and other key stakeholders to achieve meeting the CCDM programme standards across the district to enable optimum use of the acuity/workload system and alignment of staffing with patient needs.

He Korero mōu - About You

The successful person will be a Registered Nurse/Midwife with a broad range of clinical experience, a relevant post graduate qualification and developed computer and electronic system skills. In addition, an experienced user of TrendCare acuity system, a working knowledge of the CCDM programme and previous leadership experience. A keen interest in Nursing Informatics and quality is important to ensure continuous improvement is at the forefront.
