About the Role
Puawai Aroha Maternity Unit in Tairāwhiti is seeking a passionate and dedicated midwife to join our team in a combined midwife educator and clinical coach role. This role will give you the ability to move between strategic education planning and midwifery practice development, through teaching as well as hands-on clinical coaching and mentorship.
In this role, you will join a supportive and experienced maternity team in a culturally rich region.

About you
If you can say “Yes” to the following requirements then this position may be the right one for you and we would very much encourage you to submit an application:
- Are a Registered Midwife with a minimum of 5 years post registration experience
- Hold a current New Zealand midwifery APC (or eligible to obtain one)
- Are eligible to work in New Zealand
- Value collaborative, woman-centered care
- Have engaged in continuing education since registration and have/are working towards a postgraduate qualification, adult education qualification, have completed a leadership course
