About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our Nutrition and Food Services Retail and Cafe team. In this role you will be responsible for tasks like making coffee, sandwiches and wraps, serving customers, cashier responsibilities, keeping seating areas clean and tidy and washing dishes using a commercial dishwasher.
The position involves rostered shifts and duties Monday to Sunday, scheduled between 6:00 am and 8:30 pm, requiring flexibility and a positive attitude towards variable working hours. It may include weekends & public holidays. Your role/hours will be confirmed on offer.

About you
We are looking for people who
- Are extremely reliable with a great attendance record
- Are able to work within a team
- Manage a high standard of personal presentation
- Are able to show care and empathy
- Have experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or an eligible working visa and be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
