This position is open exclusively to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora staff only.
We are looking for an energetic and empathetic Healthcare assistant to work within Thames Hospital’s Emergency Department. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in Healthcare. This is a casual position covering unexpected leave as required.

About our Service
Thames Hospital is a secondary level hospital 100 kilometres north of Hamilton. It serves the Thames, Coromandel Peninsula, Hauraki and Paeroa areas. Thames Hospital has a 24 hour emergency department, and covers the usual range of General surgery and General medicine. Thames Hospital is part of the Waikato District Health Board.

About you
Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- Healthcare experience preferred although we are willing to train the right person
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
