Are you a great communicator with strong time management and computer skills? Do you enjoy working in a supportive team environment? We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team as an Administrator in the Physiotherapy Outpatients Department at Waikato Hospital.
In this role, you will work closely with other administration staff, physiotherapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth coordination of outpatient appointments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with patients and whānau to schedule appointments that suit their needs
- Booking and managing outpatient appointments for physiotherapy services
- Communicating appointment details to clinical and administrative staff
- Providing patients and whānau with information about what to expect during their appointments
- Responding to appointment-related queries and performing general administrative tasks.

Mōu | About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- A collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team
- High levels of computer literacy
It would be great if you also have:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or appointment booking
- Familiarity with iPM or similar patient management systems
- An understanding of physiotherapy services or experience working in a clinical setting
