About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised Administration Coordinator to join our busy Radiology Service, supporting the delivery of services across the Bay of Plenty.
This is a varied and rewarding role where your ability to organise, coordinate and problem solve will make a real difference to the smooth operation of our Radiology Service.
Working closely with the Operational Coordinator for Radiology Services, you will provide senior operational administration and coordination across a range of areas, including:
- Radiologist rostering and complex scheduling
- Processing Radiologist and registrar expense claims
- Payroll administration and contractual requirements
- Recruitment and staff orientation
- Facilities and operational support
- Responding to day to day scheduling challenges and changing priorities

About the Team/Service/ Location
Radiology is an essential part of patient care, and our service brings together a diverse team across Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals, including consultant radiologists, radiology registrars, nurses, medical imaging technologists, sonographers and administration staff.

About you
We’re looking for an experienced administrator who is organised, proactive and solutions focused, with the confidence to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
You will bring:
- 5+ years administration experience (preferred)
- Relevant business, administration or computing qualification, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong coordination, negotiation and resource management skills
- Sound working knowledge in Microsoft Office Systems,
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills with a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, databases and Adobe
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
- The ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- A genuine commitment to quality, accuracy and getting things right
