About the Role
Are you an organised and compassionate administrator who enjoys bringing people and processes together? We’re looking for enthusiastic Administration Support team members to join our exciting Child Health Integrated Response Pathway (CHIRP) team.
Project CHIRP is establishing an innovative approach to coordinating specialist assessment and support for children experiencing neuro developmental, attentional and behavioural concerns. Bringing together Child Mental Health, Paediatrics and Child Development services and specialists, CHIRP provides a collaborative approach to assessment, treatment and support.
At the heart of CHIRP is a Tamariki and whānau-centred approach — making it easier for families to access the right support at the right time. Your administration and coordination skills will play an important part in helping make this happen.
In this role, you will help keep the pathway running smoothly by coordinating appointments, supporting communication between services and professionals, and ensuring whānau receive clear and timely information. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working across services to create a more connected and responsive experience for Tamariki and their whānau.
We have a position available working 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week). When applying, please let us know in your cover letter how many hours you would like to be considered for.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong administration, organisation and coordination skills
- Communicates clearly and confidently with a diverse range of people
- Builds positive and respectful relationships with whānau and professionals
- Is compassionate, approachable and genuinely cares about making a difference for Tamariki
- Can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Is flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving environment
- Uses initiative and can think creatively to find solutions and keep things moving
- Works collaboratively and enjoys being part of a supportive team
This opportunity would suit an experienced who is looking for a meaningful role where their skills can contribute to better outcomes for Tamariki and whānau.
