About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our General Medicine team as a Ward Clerk in Ward 2 at Middlemore Hospital.
As the first point of contact for patients, whānau, and staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the ward. Your responsibilities will include providing efficient administrative, clerical, and reception services that contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, until September 2027.
About You
The ideal candidate will need to have;
- Frontline reception and telephone experience
- Computer technology knowledge and basic computer skills
- Previous administration experience in a healthcare environment
- Flexible and team player
- Excellent overall admin skills with high attention to detail
The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
