Clinic and Administration Co-ordinator, Module 7 & 7a General Medicine

About the Role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Clinical and Administration Coordinator to join our team based at Manukau Health Park. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, fixed term until December 2026.
As a key member of the Medicine Division, you will play an important role in coordinating outpatient clinic activity and managing follow-up waitlists. Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure clinics are scheduled efficiently and patients receive timely access to care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating, scheduling, and managing outpatient follow-up waitlists
- Setting up, cancelling, and adjusting clinics in line with service requirements
- Providing administrative and coordination support to the wider module team
- Supporting clinic preparation and ensuring effective ongoing waitlist management
- Liaising with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth clinic operations
- Monitoring clinic activity and assisting with service delivery outcomes
About you:
You are an experienced healthcare administrator with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a calm, professional approach. You enjoy working in collaborative environments and understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency in patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-focused administrative role within a healthcare setting
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and clerical administration
- Proficiency in iPM, MCIS, and Concerto
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
