About the Role
The Haemodialysis Unit at Te Toka Tumai, part of the Adult Medical Directorate, is in search of an experienced administrator to join our team as a Ward Clerk. A supportive and dynamic team with numerous opportunities for the ideal candidate to upskill and grow, in this 1 FTE, full time role working 40 hours a week.
As a ward clerk you will:
- Provide clerical support to the Haemodialysis Units,
- Being the first point of contact for visitors and internal clients to the service and providing a high-quality customer-focused approach through face to face and telephone contact.
- Perform various administrative tasks associated with the smooth operation of the clerical aspects of the service; including data entry of Patient Information into the relevant IS systems and administration of clinical records and associated documentation

About you
As an ideal candidate for this role, you will:
- Have at least 2 years of admin/reception experience (experience in the health sector is beneficial)
- Be proficient in computer skills and MS Office
- Have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
