About the Role

As a Team Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative, operational and coordination support to the Clinical Support Services Directorate. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. The Directorate supports a range of specialist services including Cardiology, Renal, Diabetes, Cancer & Blood, Radiology and Pathology.

Working closely with Service Managers, Clinical Leads and multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate meetings, manage administrative processes, support workforce and roster administration, assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, maintain accurate records and documentation, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Directorate. Your excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities will be key to your success.

The Clinical Support Services Directorate brings together a range of specialist services that provide vital diagnostic, treatment and support functions for patients across Te Tai Tokerau. The role supports services that are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and improving health outcomes for our communities.

About you

As an experienced administrator, you will be highly organised, adaptable and confident working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. You will enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of people and take pride in delivering high-quality support services. You will have:

  • Proven experience in an administrative, team support, personal assistant or coordination role
  • Advanced organisational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems and technologies
  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, taking minutes and maintaining accurate records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and exhibit resilience and dependability.
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to providing culturally safe and equitable services
  • A current full New Zealand Drivers’ Licence
