Switchboard Operator

• Telecommunications Operator, New Plymouth Hospital, Permanent Part Time.
• The Call Centre is the hub of the hospital, we are seeking a motivated and energetic team player to join our team.
• This position is permanent part time, 48 hours per fortnight.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of 18 make up a diverse and dynamic group, who embrace all aspects of the department, to provide a smooth and efficient service to the hospital and wider Taranaki community.

About you

• Experience in administration in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Advanced oral communication, and proven customer service skills is essential.
• Sound computer skills e.g., MS Word and Excel.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• The ability to manage varying workloads and learn new skills.
• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Good sense of humour, a team player, desire to work in a vibrant and fun environment.
