About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a motivated Patient Care Assistant (Clerical) to join our friendly, quality-focused and dynamic administration team within Module 4 (Paediatrics) at Manukau Health Park.
While this role does not involve direct patient care, you will play an important role in supporting children and their families through the provision of high-quality clinical administration. You will work closely with a large multidisciplinary team and contribute to ensuring our patients and their whānau receive a positive and well-supported experience.
We currently have two positions available:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Part-time: 32 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Based at Manukau Health Park
About You
We are looking for a motivated and people-focused administrator with experience working in a healthcare environment. You will have a strong customer focus and a commitment to providing a patient-focused service to the diverse community of South Auckland.
As a people person, you will have excellent communication skills, be organised and adaptable, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
You will have:
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with iPM and the Regional Clinical Portal is preferred
- Excellent computer and technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A customer-focused and professional approach
- The ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment
