About the Role

As a Sonographer at Counties Manukau District, you will be challenged clinically, offering care and services to our hugely diverse multicultural community. There is the opportunity to do a broad variety of examinations including general, Obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular examinations. There is a wealth of collective experience, providing a multidisciplinary team approach in a supportive, mentoring and training environment.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of Sonographers offer both an inpatient and outpatient service over two locations, Middlemore Hospital an 800 bedded acute hospital and Manukau Health park.

About you

As a Sonographer the experience and professional requirements needed in the role -. 

  • Registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board as a Sonographer
  • General or Sub-speciality experience
  • Working within a Multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintaining on-going professional development
  • Working at Health New Zealand
