Scheduler & Administrator, Radiology Service - Manukau Health Park

About the Role:
We are looking for experienced, compassionate and highly organised Scheduler & Administrator to join our busy Radiology team. In this role, you will manage outpatient appointment bookings and waitlists, helping patients access the care they need in a timely manner.
Working in a fast-paced environment that serves one of New Zealand's most diverse communities, you will regularly communicate with patients, whānau, referrers and clinical teams. Outstanding telephone etiquette, empathy and professionalism are essential.
This is full-time positions working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am to 6pm and based at Manukau Health Park.
What You Will Do:
- Manage Radiology outpatient bookings and waitlists.
- Coordinate appointments in line with clinical priorities.
- Liaise with patients, referrers and clinical teams to support timely access to services.
- Respond to enquiries with kindness, professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain accurate patient information and booking records.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment.
About You:
You are a highly organised and adaptable administration professional who enjoys working in a busy healthcare environment. You have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous 2 years administration experience within the health sector
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and telephone skills.
- Enjoy helping people and providing outstanding customer service.
- Remain calm and professional while managing a busy workload.
- Have strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
