About the Role
As a Roster Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and allocating relief and casual staff across hospital services to ensure safe and effective staffing levels. You’ll act as a central point of contact for staffing requests, balancing priorities and responding quickly to changing service needs.
This is a fast-paced and highly important role where your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a real difference. You’ll manage rosters, update staffing systems, and communicate with a wide range of clinical teams to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time. You’ll also contribute to maintaining accurate data, monitoring trends, and supporting continuous improvement in workforce coordination.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Roster Office supports staffing coordination across hospital services, working closely with clinical and operational teams. Based at Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, you’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on supporting safe, efficient service delivery.

About you
As a Roster Office Coordinator, you will bring:
- Strong administrative and data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast - paced environment
- Experience with rostering, payroll, or workforce systems (or willingness to learn)
- A team - focused approach and commitment to supporting patient care
