About the Role
As an Elective Booking Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating outpatient appointments and elective surgical bookings, ensuring patients are scheduled efficiently and within required timeframes. You will manage waiting lists, maintain accurate patient data, and liaise closely with clinical teams to support smooth service delivery.
This is a busy and rewarding role where attention to detail and strong communication skills are key. You’ll work across multiple systems and priorities, helping to maximise clinic and theatre utilisation while providing a high standard of customer service to patients and whānau. Your work will directly contribute to improving access to care and meeting service performance targets.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Administration Services team supports outpatient and elective services across Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital. You will be part of a collaborative team working closely with clinical and operational staff to ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care.
