About the Role
Respiratory physiologist is required to perform respiratory function tests including cardiopulmonary exercise testing on inpatients and out patients referred to the respiratory function laboratory and assessment and follow-up of patients referred to the domiciliary oxygen service.
We are in search of trained Respiratory Physiologists, enthusiastic, motivated and friendly person who enjoys achieving high standards and have excellent communication skills to come join and be part of our team.

About you
To be successful for the role, you will have/ be
- A qualified clinical physiologist (respiratory) holding CRFS from the Australian & New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science (ANZSRS) or equivalent.
- Be eligible for registration or have a current New Zealand Clinical Physiologist Registration Board (CPRB) Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Completed the recognised tertiary qualification in respiratory science or equivalent (minimum NZQA Level 7).
Desired
- Post graduate qualification in clinical physiology related field (NZQA level 8/9)
- Previous experience in respiratory measurement testing (minimum 2 years).

The respiratory department at Te Toka Tumai Auckland provides both national and local services for people in New Zealand who experience complex respiratory conditions and provides a clinical and physiology service for inpatient and outpatient care.
Part of the Adult Medical Services Directorate at Te Toka Tumai Auckland, our team is composed of highly experienced Respiratory Physiologists working across two different locations and alongside other health professionals.
