About the Role
Working in the Oncology Outpatient service provides opportunities to work in the Chemotherapy Day Stay Unit, Radiotherapy, Clinic and the Acute Oncology area.
This requires nurses with many skills including those of acute assessment and a good understanding of cancer treatment options. We are committed to providing excellent nursing care to patients and their whanau.

About You
In this role, we are looking for the following important skills & qualifications:
- Experience in Oncology or Haematology is preferable
- Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Ideally have 3 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a supportive nursing team committed to effective/evidenced based nursing practice.
