About the Role

Are you an experienced Neonatal Registered Nurse with a passion for Neonatal care? Join our friendly team at Tauranga Hospital’s Neonatal Unit (Wahanga Piripoho).

The Neonatal Unit is a Level 2 unit with 12 cots. We provide high dependency care including CPAP, High Flow, TPN and the stabilisation of infants requiring intensive care before transfer to a NICU.

We are looking for candidates with strong organisation and communication skills who thrive in a team environment. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable newborns and their Whanau.

This is a 0.8FTE position, working on a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

About You

To be successful in this role, you would require the following:

  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Preferably two years or more of Registered Nurse experience in neonates.
