Registered Nurse, Haemodialysis, Fixed term

Our Waitematā Renal Service is looking for Registered Nurses to join our Haemodialysis Service on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave cover

Previous haemodialysis experience is essential. Familiarity with Fresenius haemodialysis machines would be an advantage (although machine training will be provided). 

The positions will be based at our North Shore Hospital acute / dependent-care haemodialysis centre in Takapuna, Auckland..

We are growing a Centre of Excellence in dialysis care at Waitematā: you will not only be passionate about caring for renal patients, but also be passionate about caring about them, too. Using an advanced critical thinking approach to their practice, we expect our RNs to provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care to our haemodialysis patients within the primary nursing framework that forms our model of care. You will demonstrate excellence in the skills of haemodialysis and have a sound technical knowledge of this machine-based therapy. You will possess well-developed communication skills, be motivated and have experience of being a member of a team that works collaboratively to facilitate and coordinate care to achieve best long-term health outcomes for dialysis patients.
