About the Role

Permanent role
The Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) is comprised of two coronary angiography Cath labs and a recovery area at North Shore Hospital.
Procedures include coronary angiography, angioplasty and device implantations e.g. permanent pacemaker and ICD.

We are a friendly team, looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join us. CVU is open from 7.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and staff usually work 8 hour shifts.
We work in a fast-paced environment while still delivering high quality of clinical nursing care. A desire to learn and develop your knowledge and skills is what is most important to us.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
A minimum of 2 years’ post registration experience in the Cath Lab and Cardiology
A confident communicator and natural problem solver
Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
