An opportunity has arisen for a 0.5 FTE Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) Clinical Nurse Specialist role. This exciting role will involve working with the wider ORL clinical team to support both outpatient and inpatient pathways.
This roles is a fixed term role due to limited funding
About the Team/Service/ Location
We are a collaborative team and our Clinical Nurse Specialist role is pivotal to our success and will be expected to engage fully with the whole team.
About you
The successful candidate will have a contemporary current Practice in care of patients receiving ORL treatment/care and will demonstrate advanced critical thinking, judgement and accountability for their actions and decisions. They will be self-directed, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is also an important attribute in this role, as is a passion for teaching patients, whanāu and colleagues.
Are you a registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably a post-graduate education at certificate/diploma level underway or planned, and a desire for on-going professional development?
