About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology Service, you will provide high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role offers a structured Educational Development Pathway, supporting your growth from foundational knowledge to expert practice.
We have two positions available for a registered nurses in our service at 0.4FTE (32 hours per fortnight)
One Registered Nurse will support nurse-led clinics alongside our CNS, Nurse Practitioners and SMO workforce with a focus on pre and post cardiac intervention events.
One RN will capture the district cardiac data via ministry lead cardiac databases with quality improvement initiatives and reporting expectations to the wider team.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
· Current NZ Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience, preferable in General Medicine and/or Cardiology
· Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
· Are eligible to work in New Zealand
· Experience or strong interest in Cardiology/Medical Nursing
· Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving Māori health outcomes
· Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in high-pressure situations
· Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
