Registered Nurse – Admission and Discharge Transition Unit (ADTU)

About the Role

Are you an experienced RN looking for a dynamic role? We have a permanent position available to work in the ADTU and work a roster that supports patient care from admission and discharge streams.

We are welcoming applications from competent and professional practitioners who will be providing caring, and best practice nursing services to our patients that puts them at the centre of everything we do. 

Successful candidates will work rostered and rotated shifts and be able to work in other areas during times of lower demand.

About you

· Are you a qualified Nurse who has experience working within a New Zealand hospital / healthcare system who would embrace an exciting opportunity in a beautiful province with fantastic work life balance?

· Have you got experience working within the acute hospital setting?

We are looking for experienced nurses, you must have no APC conditions and have the following:

• CVAD certification
• Cannulation and phlebotomy skills
• demonstrated ability to comprehensively assess patients, implement a nursing care plan and escalate or resolve any concerns 
• a keen desire to work in an environment of change while providing excellent patient centred care
