About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others to join our busy Radiology team.

You will be the first point of contact for patients and whānau, providing a welcoming service while supporting the smooth running of our reception and administration services.

This is a 40-hour-per-week permanent position, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7.00am and 6.00pm. Occasional weekend work may be required. You will work across Manukau Health Park and Middlemore Hospital to support service needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients and whānau.
  • Manage reception and telephone enquiries.
  • Arrive and assign patients in QDoc across Radiology modalities.
  • Complete general administration, scanning and documentation.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Work closely with clinical teams and escalate issues when required.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous customer service or reception experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional and friendly approach to patient care.
