About the Role
Join Starship Child Health and help drive positive environmental change for tamariki, whānau and kaimahi.
We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support delivery of the Greening Starship project. This part‑time role plays a key part in coordinating sustainability initiatives, supporting kaimahi engagement, and helping embed environmentally responsible practices across Starship Child Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating day‑to‑day Greening Starship project activities
- Supporting planning and delivery of sustainability initiatives (e.g. waste reduction, recycling, transport, paper‑light systems)
- Facilitating and supporting the Greening Starship Community of Practice
- Coordinating meetings, communications, actions, and reporting
- Building strong relationships with clinical and non‑clinical teams to support engagement and change
About You
To thrive in this role, you will enjoy working collaboratively, bringing people together around shared goals, and supporting practical change in a complex health environment.:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating sustainability, environmental, or service improvement initiatives in a complex organisation
- Proven ability to translate ideas into practical actions and keep initiatives progressing to agreed timelines
- Able to work independently, use initiative, and manage competing priorities
- Commitment to equity and actualising Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Strong communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
