About the Role
- Provide occupational therapy oversight to the Wrap n Pak Affirmative Business programme
- Manage referrals to Wrap n Pak to reduce wait-times and make the best use of the available spaces on the programme
- Contribute to and support the development and maintenance of RWR as a high quality and effective vocational rehabilitation service that supports improved health outcomes for tāngata whai i te ora
- Establish connections between tāngata whai I te ora and other RWR services; the referral source; employers; educators and other vocational skills development providers. Implement standardised vocational assessments and interventions to facilitate the development of career, work or education pathways.
- To contribute to service improvement through identifying, proposing, developing and implementing service improvement initiatives in collaboration with Team Manager, Senior Occupational Therapist and other service key stakeholders.

About You
We are looking for an Occupation Therapist who has:
- current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- clean and full driver's license
- strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills; commitment to equitable health outcomes for Maori; respectful of diversity; effective team player and problem solver
We welcome applications from occupational therapists who are new graduates or new to mental health & addictions practice. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive support, including supervision, mentoring, and coaching. You will also be supported to complete a New Entry to Specialist Practice (NESP) programme, which includes undertaking a postgraduate certificate in Health Sciences (MH&A).
