About Us
Mental Health Services for Older Adults (MHSOA) provides a range of services to people over the age of 65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or cognitive change.
About the role
Kingsley Mortimer has a full-time position available for an experienced, registered Occupational Therapist to join a cohesive, multidisciplinary team providing assessment and treatment to service users and their families/whanau. Our approach is collaborative and our population is culturally diverse. This role also provides the opportunity to increase and enhance clinical skills within an established and supportive work environment.

About You
This position would suit an occupational therapist who
- Can provide specialist occupational therapy interventions that promote the well-being of service users
- Is confident working with older people, often with complex needs.
You must have
- Current APC
- Previous experience in Mental Health is preferred but New Grad are welcome to apply
We welcome applications from occupational therapists who are new graduates or new to mental health & addictions practice. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive support, including supervision, mentoring, and coaching. You will also be supported to complete a New Entry to Specialist Practice (NESP) programme, which includes undertaking a postgraduate certificate in Health Sciences (MH&A).
