- Fixed-term, Part-time role (ending on June 2027)
- 48 hours per fortnight
- Based in Takapuna
- Potential for the role to be a secondment if you are already employed with Waitematā
About Us
Health NZ Waitematā is the largest mental health provider in NZ with services for children, adult and older adult, Māori and Pacific as well as operating regional services of forensic psychiatry and addictions. There are also strong partnerships with a number of Non-Government Organisations (NGO) and Primary Health Organisations (PHO) in the region.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Individual Placement Support (IPS) Coordinator to work with Non-Government Organisations (NGO) partners providing employment support across our Adult, Māori, Pacific, Older Adult Mental Health Services and some Community Alcohol and other Drug (CADS) teams. This role is responsible for providing programme coordination including support, relationship building and liaison, reporting and practical assistance. This role will provide an opportunity for you to turn your belief in the value of employment in facilitating recovery into action as you apply your skills in working collaboratively with others to plan, develop, deliver and the programme.

About You
You will have a background in clinical practice and clinical experience within mental health and/or addictions services with excellent relationship and facilitation skills. You will be passionate about the role of employment in recovery and supporting our services to deliver quality health outcomes.

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant health field
- Mental health clinical experience
- More than five years’ experience in mental health sector
- Recent experience in a medium to large health organisation
