About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Anaesthetic Technician (AT) to work in a senior role in our Anaesthesia Preadmission Clinics, as part of an existing Nurse Specialist team. We are looking for an expert RN or AT or with at least two years previous experience in anaesthesia assessment who is seeking advanced practice in their career plan.

This is a permanent role working 1.0 FTE, Monday to Sunday.

About You:

In this role, you will:

  • Provide specialist care and coordination of elective patients through the anaesthetic preadmission process.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with close liaison specifically with anaesthesia, surgical services and patient administration services.

There will be strong links to the primary care providers for optimising therapies prior to surgery, and you will be liaising with a number of internal and external agencies to manage follow-through on complex patient referrals to other providers.
