If you are about to qualify as an Occupational Therapist and you are interested in mental health, we would like to invite you to apply to our New Graduate programme! A part of the programme is to enrol into the AUT NESP post graduate study to receive a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Mental Health and Addictions) at the end of 2026. This requires a commitment to undertake post graduate study while maintaining a full-time role. This study will set the foundation to working in Mental Health and Addictions services.
We have a new graduate role available in Matariki or Manukau Adult Community Mental Health team.
Adult Intergrated Care South - The service provides a range of high quality, integrated and comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment interventions and support for adults aged 16 – 65 who are experiencing mental health and co-existing drug and alcohol issues.
Essential:
- Completion of your Occupational Therapist degree at an accredited New Zealand Institution in 2026
- Ability to gain registration and an APC with NZOTB by 2026 – this is essential prior to starting
- A full clean driver’s licence
